Estate Planning – It’s All About Family

Estate Planning affects your life and your children’s lives.   It needs to be personal.  That’s why we treat our clients as part of a team with whom we can jointly develop and put into effect a plan of action that’s tailored to you and your family.

We look forward to getting to know you.

Avoid Probate.

Probate is time consuming, public and expensive. Proper use of Trust planning can take you outside of the probate process.

Estate Taxes

There’s a good chance that you might have a Massachusetts taxable estate.

Massachusetts includes everything in your taxable estate including real estate, life insurance, and even retirement savings. Because the Mass Estate tax exemption is only $1M, many middle class families can be caught in this trap.  But there are things you can do to reduce your estate tax exposure.

Experience

Attorney David J. Dubinsky is a principal in Dubinsky Law, PLLC and has been practicing law since 1987.  He became “of counsel” to Borchers Trust Law in 2017. His practice includes trusts, estates and related litigation. David represents a number of young families associated with Google, Wayfair and MIT. His practice often includes estate plans focused on children and how they can be properly supported while still being motivated for personal success. He finds his joy in listening to client goals and concerns and tailoring his approach and tactics to the achievement of those goals. He firmly believes that in the end it’s all about family, caring for parents, protecting our spouse, and fostering the growth of children no matter how old they are.

Attorney Dubinsky graduated from the Boston University School of Law. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Boston University, the University of California at San Diego and Newbury College. He has been published in the Mass Law Review. He is a current board member of Communities for People, a non-profit devoted to finding community based solutions for children in need of services, including group homes, adoption, and foster care. He is a former board member of the Stoughton JCC and former Boston University Moot Court judge.

Attorney Dubinsky has been married to his wife Elise for more than 25 years, and has two adult children. He enjoys insightful humor, music of all kinds, and spending time with his family.

Praise

David was incredibly easy to speak with. He took the time to listen to what we had to say about our family and our needs.
